“Good night. Sleep tight. Don’t let the bed bugs bite!”

July 27, 2010

(This is not my mattress by the way!)

Oh my! I recently saw something on the MSN website about bed bugs. I briefly looked at it while I was waiting for my search to land me on the correct page. Then today at work, I heard some people talking about how one of the high rises that we service for senior citizen meals was dealing with an infestation of bed bugs. Automatically, my scalp started itching, and I started considering a trip to a store to pick up fresh, hypoallergenic, plastic bedcovers and new pillows for all.

When I got home, I looked up bed bugs on the internet ……….WRONG THING TO DO! I’ve taken the Gallup’s Strength Finders test. I was only allowed to know my Top 5 with the code inside my book. My Top 5 Strengths are (not in order): INPUT, LEARNER, RESPONSIBILITY, INDIVIDUALIZATION and RESTORATIVE. But, I’m just sure FOCUS had to be in the Top 10 somewhere. Once I get an idea in my head, sometimes it’s an act of God before I can get it out.

My sister, Chris, and I used to finish the old bedtime saying with…”If they do, hit them with a shoe til they’re black and blue!” YUCK!!!! Have you seen these little creatures? I think they sound worse then dust mites.

Julie

PS: Does your body itch all of a sudden? Go check your mattresses and bedframes tonight! These little critters are nocturnal, I guess! But they leave evidence that they’ve been there! Ewwwww! And the reason it was on MSN the other day is because there’s a resurgence of infestations of these little critters all over the US. Ewwwwww!
